Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation: proof that you don’t have to pay a fortune for flawless foundation.
Take it from a foundation junkie: – I have a lot of foundations in my collection – this product is fantastic.
A variation of the brand’s existing Healthy Mix Foundation, this formulation is better suited to my dry skin, and to the finish I prefer. It offers a little lighter coverage than the original medium-coverage formulation (although it still provides a medium coverage), and I find that less product is needed to cover the face. It is also dewier, and this is the finish I look for.
My all-time favourite foundation is Make Up For Ever’s Face and Body Foundation, which is extremely light. I also like Chanel’s Vitalumiere, which leaves a very dewy finish. But for the winter, when my skin shows more redness and I feel that I want a little more coverage, the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation has fast become an everyday favourite.
It is worth mentioning that Bourjois is owned by Chanel, and I really think that this foundation is as good as the brilliant Chanel foundations. It is an absolute steal at £10.99, and Boots is currently offering a promotion of £3 off.
